I have been kicking around this idea for awhile and finally had some time to actually work on it. It’s called the Learning Blueprint and if I meet with you, chances are I’ll be giving you one. Don’t worry, it’s just a half page and mostly pictures! The Learning Blueprint is a simple tool we’ll use to discuss what it is you want to learn and where you want to go. Consider it a game plan. It’ll grow to be something different for each client, so don’t feel like every item on it is something you need to do. Nor is it a complete list of everything that is possible on the Mac. Even some of my favorite Apps aren’t on there.
Apple does something very similar for their One to One members called the Portal, but in my opinion, it tends to be more overwhelming than inspiring. My half-page Learning Blueprint will hopefully remind some folks to review some things, and lead others to charting new territory.
