So, you just booked an appointment with the Mac Instructor and you’re wondering if there’s anything you can do to prepare for the session, right? Well there most certainly is! Here are some great ways to make sure that you’ll get the most of your time when you sign up for a personal training appointment.
First, get a pen and notebook. It’s a good idea to simply have some paper at hand to write down quick notes and reminders during our training session. Some folks love drawing pictures of buttons they need to remember, others love collecting useful keyboard shortcuts.
Second, make note of what you want to get out of the appointment. When the session arrives, you definitely don’t want to be racking your brain, trying to remember the topics you wanted to cover.
Third, be sure you know your computer’s login password. I’ll never ask you for your computer’s password, however if we need to do a software update, or fix an email issue, I’ll need you to enter in the correct password. As you can imagine, a forgotten password can take quite a while to retrieve.
Lastly, remember to have fun at the appointment! Even if the dog ate your notebook or the password oozed its way out of your computer, we can still have a good time composing projects and learning tips and tricks.
