Welcome to the Mac Instructor Blog! If you’re here, you probably already know that the Mac Instructor provides “professional and enthusiastic training for Mac users in the Birmingham area.” My hope is that this blog serves as a supplement to the Mac Instructor website and the services this little business offers. Here, you’ll find three things: news pertaining to the Mac Instructor, tips and tricks for basic Mac users, and reviews of products which I think will benefit my customers.
Here’s what this blog is not: it’s not a place for extreme techies to get the latest updates in Apple world. Nor is this a place where I intend to “talk shop.” There are plenty of other corners of the Internet which offer that.
This blog is designed for the same people who will benefit from the Mac Instructor services: people who’ve got busy lives and simply want to know a couple neat things which will help enhance their workflow on the computer. Thanks for checking out the site and I hope you’ll learn something new here!
I am an Apple Certified Support Professional with over a decade of experience supporting families, schools, and businesses. Tech has always captured my imagination, but it's not my only passion. I'm an ordained Anglican minister; Aeropress is a daily ritual of mine; I've driven across Mongolia; and I'm the father of three girls. I hope to provide for you a balanced and realistic perspective into the practicality of technology.
