A random baby sonogram, an audio recording of my infant daughter singing a song, a PDF of my wife’s family tree, a scanned letter my grandma hand wrote me... These are all various digital snippets that sunk into the various corners of my Mac.

If these items were tangible, I'd probably keep them in a shoebox under my bed, ready to be pulled out on a rainy day. I certainly can’t classify these files as standard documents, so I have a hard time finding a place for them in my productive folder scheme or even within Evernote. These digital memories serve as reminders of life’s delicate moments, and so I’ve decided to store them in a Dropbox folder simply called Keepsakes, easily accessible for when motivation runs dry or I just need a little lift.
