Apple finally released Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS X. This upgrade carries a powerful punch and I encourage you to show your Mac some love by giving it the latest operating system. Apple describes the upgrade as bringing the best of the iPad and iPhone back to the Mac. The Mac App Store, full-screen apps, multitasking Mission Control, and app organizing Launchpad are some of the major new features. Furthermore, it prepares the way for your Mac to gain iCloud this fall. If you’d like to read more about Lion, you can do so here.
I would love to install Lion for you. Rather than waiting hours for it to download to your Mac, I will have it ready for a quicker and more personable instalation. As I install it onto your computer, I will use my Mac to teach you the latest features and answer your questions, ensuring that you feel quite at home when your Mac’s update completes. To book a Lion appointment, head to this page. Newer Macs will most likely take 60 minutes, and Macs more than two years will probably require 90 minutes for the install.
After poking around the beta releases of Lion, I can definitely say it has a feature for everyone–no matter if you’re a Mac junkie or just use it for the basics. With the amount of emailing I do, I’m most excited about the revamped Mail app. Way cleaner interface and super easy to use.
Book an appointment today and find out why I’m convinced Lion will be something you love.
