Set Up Parental Restrictions on an iPad or iPhone

Right out of the box, the iPhone and iPad come with tools to protect your child. They’re called Restrictions, and these tools give you the ability to disable almost all of the iPad’s features, including restricting adult content from their web browsing. For young and older children, this is incredibly useful.

Creating healthy tech boundaries for your kids

Parents have a love/hate relationship with their kids' devices. On one hand, they see the educational benefit of many creative and content-rich apps, but on the other hand, they witness kids having a difficult time at putting down the screen. This dilemma has many parents either caving into their kid's desire for constant connectedness or by insisting that the child only uses the iPad per extremely rigid perimeters. Surly, there's a middle ground.
